When it comes to makeup for myself or for clients, I love experimenting with new products. I first became aware of this new clean beauty brand, Manasi 7, on Instagram. The way the creamy colors sat in these white minimalistic jars, it sent my heart fluttering with the warm and fuzzies! I knew I had to have them! Although they are quite expensive for cream color pigments ($57), I was even more elated that I was able to purchase them locally rather than waiting for them to be shipped to me! So that's a bit of a savings, right? LOL!
Anyway, these creamy color pigments are very nourishing to the skin and can be used as an eye shadow, blush, and or lipstick. They are great for a monochromatic makeup look or for mixing pigments to create your own shades. This is a makeup artists dream or a makeup minimalist dream! One product can do it all! Although, it's a clean product, the unfortunate side it that the packaging isn't recyclable as I was told by the shop owner where I purchased them from.
The cream color pigments come in 12 shades and the skin loving ingredients are Castor Seed Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Apricot Seed Oil, Sunflower Oil among other natural ingredients.
For starters, I went with Kobicha and Mangosteen. Kobicha is a pinky neutral brown and Mangosteen is a deep blackened eggplant. Both beautiful alone or mixed to a variety of intensity of sheerness.
