GLOW GLOSSARY: THE WELLNESS EDIT

I am so ready for a great new year!  As a goal for this blog is to share a monthly guide of products that I’ve shared or that are on my wish list.

For the month of January, starting over with a clean slate is a good thing.  Personally, I didn’t make any resolutions only because it’s kind of futile to make sure hardcore promises you know you are unlikely to stick to.  For me, it’s about making small and manageable changes and building upon them.

This month, my “Glow Glossary” is all about wellness and taking care of yourself.  I sincerely hope you enjoy this.

Bobbi Brown Instant Detox Mask

January is a big month for detoxing.  We detox our bodies with clean food and we can also detox our skin with Bobbi Brown Instant Detox Mask.   The Instant Detox Mask needs to have a moment on your bathroom counter.  Although it’s a Hawaiian Sea Water and mineral-rich Amazonian White Clay product, it can be used by all skin types.  It gently draws all of the impurities out of your skin and sucks up all that excess sebum your skin produces when it’s dehydrated.  With detoxifying powers of Sea Salt and Sea Water, it’s the ultimate deep cleaning you need when just a regular degular face wash won’t do.

Indie Lee Jasmine Ylang Ylang Bath Soak

After a busy holiday season, if you wish to take a little time for yourself and unwind, add a bit of this Indie Lee Jasmine Ylang Ylang Bath Soak to your self care routine.  a blend of “Pink Himalayan, Dead Sea, Atlantic and Pacific Sea Salts paired with calming floral essential oils”, this is the ultimate relaxing little luxury for your bath.

Le Lebo Palo Santo 14 Classic Candle

While taking a long luxurious bath, don’t forget to add the candles! Le Lebo’s Palo Santo 15 Classic Candle is fragrant blend of cedarwood, labdanum, incense and patchouli.

Tata Harper Redefining Body Balm

MuruMuru, Kokum, Cocoa, Capuacu, Mango and Shea butter provide the basis for this rich cream.  Safe for pregnant women, this lush balm provides the body with so much moisture.  You will notice a serious improvement in your skin’s texture.

Agent Nateur Holi (stick) N°3

When you are done with your luxurious bath, dab on a clean, natural deodorant that’s good for your body.  All of the ingredients are skin friendly and not filled with most of the chemicals you’ll find in most commercial deodorants.  Made with Organic Coconut Oil, Sodium Bicarbonate, Beeswax, Sunflower Butter, Avocado Butter, Castor Oil, Raw Organic Honey, Lavender Essential Oil, Eucalyptus Oil, Agent Nateur Holi (stick) N°3 is a bit pricey for a deodorant, but it’s highly worth it.

Rodin Lip Balm

With the colder temps, your lips are the first to get severely dry.  Keep them moisturized with this cute and chic lip balm from it’s chic founder, Linda Rodin.  Made with Castor Oil, Beeswax, Shea Butter, Jasmine Oil, Neroli Oil, Aloe Leaf Extract, Argan Oil, you’ll want to have several on hand.

Diptyque Infused Face Oil

Another way to keep your skin moisturized and in shape is with a good face oil.  Diptyque’s version is a beautiful dry oil that melds into the skin seamlessly with an infusion of white iris extract and rose petals.

The Beauty Chef Glow Advanced Inner Beauty Powder

This is definitely the thing you need for that inner outer glow.  This berry flavored powder is delicious on it’s own or blended with your favorite smoothie.  It definitely gives your skin the glow that everyone is seeking.
