We just had our first “snowstorm” in my area about two weekends ago. Although, it didn’t do much in my neck of the woods (weather people are so freakin’ dramatic), the colder temps got me to thinking about what I need to do to keep my skin in top shape and to not let it get dehydrated.
With my normal to oily skin, it does have a tendency to get dehydrated. With heat sources in the office and at home, partaking in my occasional cup of joe, and just the cold weather, in general, can do some damage. I’ve been really working with my skin to make sure it stays relatively blemish-free and to keep my glow going for as long as I can.
So, when I made one of my weekly trips to Sephora, I was on the hunt for a good, rich, hydrating mask. I’m definitely a mask kinda woman, but it’s always been the type of masks that suck the life out of your skin with the goal of smaller pores. I love those clay-based masks and will always continue to use them, but since I’m BIG on hydrating the skin, I never understood why I never reached for hydrating masks. This lead me to try the Dior Hydra Life Extra Plump Smooth Balm Mask.
I’m SOOOOOOO glad I picked this up! Not only is the packaging gorgeous, so is this mask! Ever since the first night I’ve used it, I’m a total convert and advocate of hydrating masks. Although the Dior version is super pricey, it’s definitely worth the investment.
