Self Care Sunday: My Latest Mini Beauty Haul

I promised myself that I would limit my purchases of beauty products because I'm saving up for something I really want.  But who am I fooling.  LOL!  I did a mini beauty haul the other day for some items I really needed and some I really wanted to try.

Maybelline 24K Nudes

I'm a big fan of cheap chic items that are really good for the money, so when Maybelline dropped the Nudes palette a few years back--I jumped on the bandwagon.  So with the latest iteration of the Nudes, I got the 24K Nude eye shadow palette and I love it.  It's a nice fresh palette of well edited colors that will look great on anyone.  There are so many ways to mix and match shades.  I love how Maybelline constructed the Nudes as "palettes within a palette."  There are 12 shades of metallic-y, shimmery shades that can be grouped as duos, trios, and quads. All for less that $15!  Can't beat that.

Tom Ford Toasted Sugar Nail Lacquer

Let's face it. Tom Ford is expensive as hell, but I had to have this shade.  Toasted Sugar is a sweet creamy neutral with a blend of undertones of pink and peach that will look great against any skin tone.  I needed a new neutral polish because the one's I have lean more into the putty or ivory shades with warm undertones and I needed something different.  So I bit the bullet and purchased the polish.  I know I'll get my money's worth because I usually wear some variation of a nude nail and this shade fits right in.

Artistry Supreme LX Regenerating Eye Cream

I'm a sucker for eye cream, so I couldn't wait to get my hands on this new eye cream. I don't have dark circles and if dark circles are to come, I want to fight it every step of the way and this eye cream allows me to do that.  This creamy concoction does help with puffiness, especially if you over did it with salty snacks.  I use this morning and night and my concealer blends beautifully over the Artistry Supreme LX Regenerating Eye Cream.  It's an expensive product, so a little does go a long way.  I love the luxury look of the bottle!

Caudalie Divine Oil

I love a good oil and I love it when you can use it for multiple purposes.  So the Caudalie Divine Oil always has a place in my personal makeup bag.  I use it on my cuticles and it doubles as a body moisturizer and body fragrance because it smells so damn good!

Ouai Hair Oil

This Instagram photogenic product is the first time I'm trying this hair oil.  I've heard so much about it and decided to give it a go.  My hair is naturally dry and I'm all about a good oil.  The texture of the oil is pretty light and can be used on wet hair before blow drying or as a styling product to tame split ends and fly-aways.  As someone who has natural hair and wears a straight blow dry, I prefer to use this as a styling oil to run through my hair for shine and to keep my hair in place.  I love the clean scent and I like it because it doesn't weigh your hair down.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O

This is a replenish product for me.  I got my first bottle when a friend brought it back for me on a trip to Paris. So I bought it online.  This micellar water works like a charm.  It removes all of your makeup.  For real!  I love that it breaks down and cleans off longwearing eye liner formulas which can be hard to get off when you cleanse in the evening.  I can safely say this product will always have a place on my bathroom counter.
