Glam Glow for a Glow Goddess

If you know anything about GlamGlow products, you know that they were created specifically to give celebrities “red carpet” otherworldly skin.  Since us mere mortals strive to have the most perfect skin everyday, in addition to their incredible masks, GlamGlow created an accompanying Glow Starter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer.  This gorgeous moisturizer highlights and illuminates the skin to give your makeup an editorial-worthy look.  If worn alone, it can make you seem as if you have THE most perfect skin in the world!  It easily lends itself to the “strobing” trend that’s so prevalent in the world of beauty today.

As a makeup artist and wearer, this is an illuminator that I can get behind.  Why?  Because I’ve tried others products of this type before and even if they were a close match to my skin, they always made my dark skin tone seem a little off.   Just for grins, I wear an NC50 in many of the MAC foundations (I hate to reference my skin tone like that but I’m making a point) and the GlamGlow is definitely a universal shade because it melds into the skin leaving behind a super believable healthy sheen (not super shiny) to the skin and it definitely looks great under my foundation.  I have also worn it alone on weekends and no one can tell whether I have makeup on or not.

Since I do a crap load of weddings each year, a lot of what’s in my kit is ever evolving and changing.  I do like to try the products myself to see if it will make the cut into my kit and with multi use products such as the GlamGlow Glow Starter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer, it has earned a place in my kit.  It’s a perfect product for my brides! Not only can it be used under foundation, it can be used to highlight the neck and decollete areas for a perfectly creamy skin.
